When Abby woke up, she found a new little kitchen to play with.

Then we all had blueberry-banana pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Even though she's still toothless, Abby can eat lots of soft, tasty foods.

She opened some presents, and got some blocks and an Elmo book from mom and dad, and an "ABBY" puzzle from aunt Hij.

Other presents she got were acute purple sweater and pop-up toy from grandma and grandpa Hale, a yellow and red polka dotted stuffed camel from aunt B and uncle G, a pink sweater and skirt and another Elmo book from grammuh and grandpa Hansen, and extra hugs from Oscar.

For lunch we had pizza, and for dinner we made rainbow fettuccini alfredo. Abby's cake was made by dad, a round purple cake with pink cupcakes on top and brown dots and squiggles. She was totally into it.

We love our little one year old friend, and we have had a great year with her! Thanks for all the happy birthday wishes and fun gifts (especially the slideshow grammuh put together!)
