Bowling, bobbers and tulips

We took Abby bowling for the first time last weekend. She loved it, and although I slipped and landed on my tailbone (still recovering), we all had a great time. We wanted to try the alley that's close to our house, but they didn't have any open lanes. So we drove to another nearby alley, and they were having one of their dollar days, when everything (games, shoes, soda, fries and hotdogs) are a dollar each! How serendipitous!

After church on Sunday, I came out of putting Hunter down for a nap in his room to find famished little Abby gobbling down some "bobbers". This darling dress is a gift from Grammuh Marilyn.

We borrowed some hints from Jon's uncle Don last fall and dug up our bulbs. By separating the smaller baby bulbs and replanting them, we increased our number of tulips. Our neighbors down the street have all pink, which is lovely. But I love our splashes of color in front of our little white house.

Those are the same three "bobber" pictures I chose to send to Dad! I love your tulips - and I'm jealous, as you know. D**M deer.

Those are all great pictures. Once again, I am nostalgic for Detroit and can't wait to visit you again. The Abby pics are very sweet. I also love the new blog style. You will have to tutor me on that. XOXOX

Your daughter is beautiful. Not that that's any surprise.

The colors of your tulips remind me of starbursts. Yum. What does that say about me if flowers remind me of candy?
